Development of an internal database and its corresponding management software for the exploitation of microbial strains and their genomic data

The main objective of the project is to develop a database and its corresponding custom application to integrate, manage, and efficiently exploit the information related to DARWIN’s strain collection. The ad hoc developed platform will allow adaptation to DARWIN’s particular needs, also defining the data architecture and flow of the platform in such a way that it can be scalable in the face of future growth and functionalities of the company.

On the other hand, it will allow the inclusion of Artificial Intelligence modules that optimize the calculations and processing algorithms carried out with the high volume of data and information that is being worked with. This will result in cost and resource optimization, as well as the complete exploitation of available data.

This project is carried out in collaboration with the company Tyris Tech S.L.
