DARWIN has donated medical supplies to contribute to the fight against COVID-19. The supplies have been donated to the Ayuntamiento de Paterna and the Conselleria de Sanitat i Salut Pública.

Through the Foundation of the Scientific Park of the University of Valencia, Conselleria has been informed about the supplies donated, and they have been handed over to the Hospital Arnau de Vilanova and to the Ayuntamiento de Paterna, who will now proceed to distribute everything among medical personnel, police agents, civil protection agents and volunteers.

DARWIN has donated: swabs, that can be used to take samples from the respiratory tract; PCR and qPCR reagents, that can be used to detect the presence of viral DNA in biological samples; and gloves and ethanol 96º, that will contribute to the protection of our medical personnel so that they can continue with their incredible work and efforts in fighting this sanitary crisis.
